Pros, would you buy a lens used?
I have really wanted to get a telephoto zoom f 2.8 and can not afford a Nikkor! But that can be get a sigma (which has very good reviews) there is one on craigslist and of course I'd bring my camera and check it out before paying for it. Do you buy you ever used? The lens is $ 950 (only rose from $ 800) and the type i offered $ 600 for it.
When I was starting out and treated photography as a hobby, I bought a bunch of lenses used. I have the 24-70 f/2.8 still I bought used. I do not think that I still do that. Lenses used are not much cheaper, and have an annual budget of equipment.
