What is best for target shooting, Nikon Nikkor 70-300 or 70-200?
I'm going to throw to surf, skimboard images and photos of nature and landscapes. I wonder which of these lenses is best for what I'm going to be filming. And what are the advantages and disadvantages to them? Thanks!
Inside, the 70-200 mm f / 2.8 is preferred, of course. I find it much faster for sports photographers can get the fit light meter and then fires the event, usually at 1 / 250 @ f / 4 or 1/500th @ f / 2.8. in manual mode (with the white balance for the conditions of the course. Most of the times I've used the 70-300 mm is when I'm shooting air sample. When I shoot BMX, use even a shorter lens as the f / 2.8 and mountain bike races 24 to 70 mm, many times I used the 12-24 mm f / 4. None of the lens is good for landscapes … are too long. The landscapes are traditionally made with extreme lenses wide-angle, such as 12-24 mm. If you're shooting wildlife, the longest and fastest lens, the better. When I worked for a theme park animals used 400 mm f / 2.8 and 600 mm f / 4 lens when in the field. Lenses could use a minor as the 80-200 mm lens when shooting in the park because animals there was a "shock" radio smaller than those of nature. What lens is used, it is really up to you.
