Can anyone identify this target, and will work on a nikon d40x?
I've been talking with friends about getting a new camera. One of them wants to give to this objective: Micro-Nikkor-PC Auto 55mm 1:3.5 f = 731.408 is a Nikon film camera of age. Also special Fhotoface Message Tyring I contact you so you can see some of your photos, but I can not seem to do this: "enable email communications Yahoo! Answers" but I'll keep trying.
DO NOT TRY THIS AND LENS ASSEMBLY IN A D40x! It possibly will result in having to send his body back to Nikon camera and payment of restitution to user abuse. This objective can not be used at all on a D40x and damage the camera body if you try to mount it. It is pre-Ai and dates from 1973 based on the serial number. The D40 can use Ai lenses without the measuring of light-, pre-Ai lenses however, are not to go out anyway.
