Is the nikon 70-300mm f/4-5.6G AF Zoom Nikkor lens work with my D40? Y Can anyone tell me if they have or have used this objective? Is it a pretty good lens for the low price it is? What is a lens that is recommended for $ 250 in most of .. who has a good zoom and you would be able to use autofocus?
Are compatible, but will not autofocus on the D40. Ken Rockwell one of my heroes; comment for lenses and cameras. I love your comments, and actually have one in this objective. My 70-300mm ED IF I get that, and is supposed to be better about these things that the 70-300mm G.
