18-55 Nikkor lens for D5000?
This weekend I am buying comes with the D5000 and the 18-55 Nikkor lens. http://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/nikon-d5000-digital-slr-camera-18-55mm-nikkor-zoom- lens-02620772-pdt.html'm new digital SLR photography, so a little unsure about the lenses. stated in the curry (which I buy) that is a goal zoom? Does this mean I will be fine for normal photos (I have no intention to zoom in)? and does it have autofocus as the D5000 does not have a built engine or in the AF? thanks. and also, what other goals do you recommend? The 18-55 kit lens is an objective good for the price. The range focal length is useful for shooting you see in the links you posted. The 18-55 lens focuses on the D5000, as it has a motor built into the lens. In regard to recommendations additional lens, only you can determine that. Shoot with the 18-55 for 6 months and see where the goal is poor. You may want something with a greater or shorter focal length Or greater openness. concerns zoom feature that can change the focal length (magnification) of the lens. You will use the two extremes and everything between.
