Nikon 85mm lens, lens of the other recommendations!?
I have a nikon d40x and I am looking to invest in a good quality lens. I have recommended a Nikkor 85 mm, and I was hoping someone with this objective could give me some samples taken in an objective and / or whether to recommend the lens! I also wonder if there are other objectives would highly recommend anyone to use. I'm looking for a lens that is used primarily for portraits, both in daylight and my SB 800. I am also looking for something to produce portraits strong, bright colors without being ridiculously expensive Thanks. I use automatic and manual approach: two.) Currently I have a 18-55mm and 55-200mm lens. Thank you all so much, you all have a great response!
The 85-mm Nikon lens is good for portraits and I have an older manual version that I have used when filming the movie. The new AF 85mm 1.8 is $ 400 and the 85 mm 1.4 is $ 900. This objective is limited their work if they only have this goal. I choose something that would serve a better purpose for the trip. Everything has a perspective plan will work. That means nothing in the range of 50 mm will give this effect. A zoom would help to not have to change lenses for more. Consider these objectives 24-85mm f/2.8-4.0D, 24-120mm f/3.5-5.6 G ED-IF AF-S VR 80-200mm f/2.8 ED AF-D. If prices of these lenses are much more you can consider in the department lens used in a golf shop as well http://www.bhphotovideo.com Hope this helps, Kevin
