What is a for landscape photography?

compatible with Nikon D40 * I'm considering buying Nikkor 55-200mm Tele-Converter + what is your recommendation?

That's the wrong piece of glass to the landscape. Want a wide angle lens. I want to search the objective would be equivalent to 28-70 in 35mm format.
