Is a Wide Angle & Macro Lens Adaptor worth purchasing over a Wide Angle and/or Macro lens itself?
I am shooting with a Nikon D5000, amateur taking classes at college, trying to take my hobby to the next level. I saw this: http://photojojo.com/store/awesomeness/wide-angle-macro-lens/
and thought it was a really cool idea, not to mention a fraction of the price of a nikkor wide angle lens. I have not been able to find reviews on this product at all. Is this sort of thing worth the purchase? Or should I buck and go for the real deal?

Thanks so much for your answers. Unfortunately as a broke college student, I don’t think I can afford even a cheaper wide angle lens. plus I do like that I get both a macro and wide angle in one lens.
But who knows, maybe St. Nicholas will be extra nice to me this year 
I’ll disagree. They ARE worth the money you pay for them, which is not much when compared to the cost of a real lens. They will get you started exploring the macro and wide angle world so you will find out if you enjoy it enough to spend hundreds of dollars on a dedicated macro or wide angle lens. That’s all, though.
