What lens should I buy for my Nikon D5000?
I got about $200 for Christmas and I really need another lens for my camera. Right now I only have an Nikkor 18-55mm wide-angle zoom. I feel limited so I need another lens.
1. I wish I could zoom more.
2. I’m trying to develop a photojournalistic style.
3. As of that past 6 months people have been wanting me to do portraits for them
Please give suggestions
If you want “more zoom” then go with the 55-200mm
But for a great prime lens, get the 50mm f/1.8 for low-lighting.
