I am a beginner in the DSLR. Before I bought my first DSLR (a copy of month) that had an Olympus point and shoot that works very well. Naturally, I'd go for the E-520, BUT … Before I bought my first digital SLR, I asked what camera is better for a beginner like me. Most people here Yahoo! told me to go for a Nikon. That's what I have – a Nikon D60 with two lenses has been said. Works great for me. I chose Nikon because many professionals said most go to a Canon or Nikon. Nobody said anything about Olympus.
