Which is better? Nikon 18-200 VR nikon 70-300 vr? (Image quality)?

They will give the same results at the same focal length and f-stop if all else is also the same. A 300 mm might be a little blurry if they are not able to use a fast shutter speed. Do not rely too much on the role of VR, if the results of 300 mm are too soft then use a monopod.
