I can not take pictures with my Nikon Coolpix L18?
The lens is fine, and the screen lights up. But when I try to take a picture, I have the button and the flash red light flashes and the words on the screen 1 / 60 f2.8. Then simply do not take a photograph. The camera is not even 6 months old and has new batteries. Any suggestions on how to fix it?
Make sure you do not turn off the flash. There will be an icon with a lightning bolt and a circle around it with bar width. If that fails, you can try a reset of the camera. Go to the Restore menu> all and confirm (P.87 of the manual linked below.) Then, try taking a picture in green mode (full auto) in a dark room and see if the flash works now.
