Trying to decide which lens to get the nikon 70-300mm lens or lens Nikon 200mm VR-55?
Can anyone tell me about their experiences with one or both of the lens. Also, does anyone think that hearing extra 100mm worth the extra $ 350 that would have to pay more than 55-200mm lens. Only Take what you want to buy the 55-200 is the small size of its and the price, but intend to upgrade to a camera into the fx as 3 to 5 years and I recall the lens 70-300 works great camera fx.
If you intend to upgrade soon, just get the 70-300mm lens today, instead of getting the 55-200 and have to go through the hassle of selling it to upgrade to a fx body. Turning to performance, the lenses are very good. It will not match professional telephoto zoom lens as the Nikkor 70-200mm f2.8, but its performance is pretty decent when he stopped a little.
