What is this binocular part of a name?

http://img265.imageshack.us/my.php?image=nikondw4.jpg His part in the center of all the arrows Nikon says it. I just received these binoculars it and I couldnt really seem to move around easier. It has 2 little numbers and dots along the right side wheel. Does anyone know what it is and how to use it. I thought I was used to focus, but do not know.

It seems that the focus knob to me. You must turn quite easily.

    I am looking for an eye lens for for a small monocular opera glass. The eye lens moves half an inch from the object lens, 1.75″ to 2.25″ and is about 1/3rd inch in diameter. Can you help with something like this, please?

    The lens covers on my 10×42 monarch nikon have broken and would like to replace them. Where can i buy them
