Drive Shutter for Nikon D60?
Is there a shutter actuation number in digitalll SLR? It is said that once you meet the performance maximum shutter, digital SLR camera wont work more. Is that true?
It is simply a pointer, an approximation. Like cars, some people need a complete engine rebuild in 150.00 kilometers, others get twice that and is going strong. Also like the cars, when the problem becomes apparent, most will opt for a new one, others spend money on reconstruction. Very few people would ever reach the point of seal failure, most updated long before that point. With my favorite and most used of the camera that would have to take four shots a week, every week for ten years before approaching the shutter life suggested by the manufacturer. As I have several bodies and use them all regularly, I can really doubt that he could use the shutter out even if I've never updated again.
