Using the light meter manual cameras?
I can use an old Nikon F2 film camera with a light meter Photomic nonfunctional and as a Nikon D40 digital camera that I can use all my old Nikon lenses, and in each case I have to use a light meter. I bought a Sekonic L-358 meters, and is a little confusing. The meter is configured to measure ambient light, which apparently means I have to take the subway to the subject and point the camera in use. The meter also comes with an attachment called "Lumigrid" which is used to measure reflected light. It seems that most photographers do not even use the light Lumigrid reflected, probably from their cameras and light meters are functioning. What would be better measured, ambient or reflected light?
