Question about nikon digital slr?

I set to buy my first digital SLR (tired of my smart Powershots shoot blurry and low speed) Nikon D90 I have shortlisted as a potential candidate. However, I really do not want to carry two lenses (18-55 and 55-200) So I would ask all camera experts what they think of the following: 1. Buy Nikon D90 Body Only Amazon (appx. $ 800) 2. But the 18-200mm (appx. $ 285) The benefit is I have a jack-of-all lens some operations, so there must also bring a bag camera bag (remember my last camera used to adjust pocket) Is it a really bad idea? Cost wise that comes to approx. same price, if I go with the Nikon 18-50mm + 55-200 mm kit. Please advice forgot mentioned, due to cost pressures, the 18-200mm Nikon lens is not, but one of Tamron. Is it a good lens? Other alternatives to maintain low cost?

Ok, the D90 is a very seriose game piece for a first DSLR user, I personally would go for either a D5000 and D3000, and spend the extra money in a very objective nice, because you are paying a lot for the body of the D90, to get almost all features in a lot cheaper. And since the cameras as the D3000 and D5000 have inherited from their inner chambers of the way the D80, and D90 and D300, which is almost certainly going to offer all the features you want, and the SLR lens makes a huge difference and save money in the body and get a very good lens. The 18-200 is a very nice goal though. but think twice before going ahead and throw your money away in a body with the features you never use problems. In addition, the down side to geting a "jack of all trades lenses" is that it is not bright at all, only good / acceptable, so you might want to think about going for a couple of lenses designed so that purpouse be much better in each their areas of specialty, so wide angle aa, a lens for a ride in general, as the 18-70, then a telephoto lens.

What’s in my camera bag (Lowepro D300)
