Cannon lens compatibility (An old cannon lns fromthe 80 to work in a modern digital SLR cannon?)?
Well, my parents, girlfriend recently bought a new nikon digital slr. When they did, things got out their old camera. They had what was a very nice camera barrel 80's. They also had a few lenses, including one that I think had cost them more than the camera had. She said was to zoom up to 200x or so. The target was about 7 inches long or something. Anyway, would this work in a modern Canon camera? I know that will not work w / the nikon, but if I could sell and buy a similar lens for nikon that would be great. How about a SLR digital canon now? In any case, is valuable? On a side note, the camera was broken. Do you think this would be worthless to a collector or something?
Canon has changed all your lenses and camera bodies when EOS line was introduced. You can sell the lenses on eBay or Craigslist. List of lenses you have, and maybe we can get some approximate figures for you. Both the new entry level DSLR Nikon and Canon are good and produce good photos. There are some good buys in digital SLR This link is for a Nikon, Canon, but it must have some good deals too. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product.aspx?Prodid=11208748&whse=BC&topnav=&browse=&lang=en-US
