I found a Minolta?
I went hunting for goodwill today and found a "Minolta XG2. Normally I use a Nikon, but I've heard the Minolta are good cameras. It also came with a "Minolta auto 200x flash. All for 20.00. I did not think was too bad. So the camera is very dirty. It has dust on the lens and is likely in the interior. So my question is … How do I clean out myself? "I can use alcohol or something? When I bought my Nikon, I bought it new, so you have not had to clean everything. Minolta is also good cameras? A friend of mine said they are but are not knows anyone who uses it. Thanks!
Take it to your local camera shop for a "clean lubricant, set" (about $ 40 – $ 60) and check the battery and the light meter, and precision shooting and enjoy it. You can use and style of the old cable release and take the four hours the night Photo heaven. I started on a Minolta SRT201 (vintage 1975), and still serves me well. The film is cheap, and B & H Photo Video and / or more selling lots KEH.com MD, Minolta MC lenses. The late and great Herbert Keppler of Pop Minolta Photo used and loved. Good luck with that!
