Nikon D-80 Err on the top LCD screen.?
I have a freckle on the top LCD screen D80. I know this is an error message of the camera. The camera has been working very well. The only difference I did was I took pictures with the nikon sb-600 flash. Sometimes the shutter blocked by trying to take the picture with flash. The flash photography that took a look. I took out the battery to try to get a restart. That does not change anything. Lense is AF-S Nikkor 16-85 1:3.5-5.6 GED. I have no idea what is causing the problem. Tips on how to troubleshoot it?
Take a look at the screen in the back of the flash. If not in TTL mode and the camera is in Auto or P, you get an error because they are not working together. You can reset the SB-600 as holding the energy and buttons (Each side) for about 2 seconds. If it works, somehow changed a setting, it is not so hard to do sometimes. If all else fails, go to a store good local Nikon or call @ 1-800-NIKON-UX
