nikon camera error fee
nikon d40x please help.?

I fell into a flooded creek with the camera 24 hours ago my bag. I went straight up in the neck and kept the bag over my head in a split second. He did, however, that may arise. I held the camera and lens of a second in my hand until I got home, open compartments, flaps and remove the lens. I think I may have only been in contact with the droplets, the strap does not get wet just wet, wet and raining so hard to say. It is now in the environment drier than I have. OK so I shot this morning and has an error message. On display: FEE (Flashes) on the screen: Lock lens aperture at the minimum (Largest f / numbers. Type G lenses are not equipped with an aperture ring. I have lenses I changed the type G lenses, the same error. You know if the lens is removed. I transferred from the camera to the computer the contents of the card, all fuction well. As well picture, what you think. Thank you.

I'm glad you were not injured or worse of falling into the stream. Unfortunately getting your camera wet is not covered under warranty. Remove the batteries and try to put the camera in a bag plastic with a bowl of uncooked rice. Do the same with their lenses. Let stand a few days. If you can feel the wet rice get replaced – but also begin to swell from moisture. When the rice feels dry after 24 hours, try installing the batteries and turn on the camera lens. If you are still receiving an error message will be sent for repair. Hopefully this will not be too expensive.
