Nikon Camera Extended Warranty

nikon camera extended warranty
Nikon will come up with a new model of the Nikon D40 in the short term?

I wanted an SLR for a very long time now – and now (sort of) the funds to purchase one. I'm taking a trip to Seattle in a couple of weeks and I love the paper with a decent camera (currently have a Canon SD500) I want to buy the Nikon D40. I have a $ 100 gift card from Wal-Mart. There, they have the "kit" of $ 449 which also includes two 4GB memory cards. This does not happen is that I buy this camera, and then in a few months Nikon come out with a new model for the same price. I think this current model of the D40 has been around for quite some time? My uncle bought two years ago, at least. In addition, for $ 50 I can buy a year of extended warranty. 3 – Product Care Plans cover 100% working parts and the cost of: Mechanical and electrical failures – surge damage – normal wear and tear failures – damage caused by environmental factors Would you recommend buying this?

As I undertand the D60 was the planned replacement for the D40 so I doubt you'll see a new D40 series are in the future. It can not, can not be a D4000 in the near future there are rumors, but I have not seen any official word from Nikon on this and was not that I've seen recently spoken TIPA The D40 was not expected eliminated because it was a success for Nikon sell large quantities and getting very good reviews from customers satifaction as a digital SLR entry level. What can happen is that prices can get donw on the D40 and D60, but then again maybe not. Not be as much as we would like to electronics always wait to buy in what may be coming out next. Each time you buy a computer that seems to be a better way after a while. I have my D300 and I blinked and D700 was out. So my personal advice would be to go ahead and get the D40 and enjoy it. If in the future replace it with something better and more powerful, but Nikon has always followed the philosophy of maintaining compatibility so you can have a lot of faith that what you buy for your D40 does not work with that camera on the future. I personally bought my D40 to see if I wanted to make the switch to digital and with the full expectation it would continue for as long as I do not return to the movies or get a higher end digital. I have a higher end digital, but still kept my D4o that was not the original plan at all. But I liked it. I have a D40 and a D300 and still I like using the D40 and grab for the shots of the family. Its almost weightless, easy to use and gives good production consitently. So I have no hesitation in recommending it. As its supposed to be, an entry level DSLR that does a great job at a great price For store buyer protection that is only as good as what they buy and I have Walmart experience when it comes to this, so I can not say. I had a couple of songs (not cameras) that had bought warrenties extended from Circuit City and are now missing so it was a waste of money. I've had other cases where a month before an item out of the Guarantee esxtended went queer and gave me another so its a roll of the dice.
