Clean sticky substance from outside the body of the camera?
I bought a nikon f100 for a really great price, knowing that some of this low price was the fact that outside the body (especially in front of the movie) has some sticky substance such as soda or something. Any suggestions as what should be cleaned? The camera works fine otherwise.
Try isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol, and if that does not work (it does in many cases) try Goo Gone. "Put on a paper towel or q.tip, not directly on the camera case. The goo gone, probably will, then you need to clean the dirt come with alcohol.
