How I can correct the blurred screen of my digital Nikon CoolPix wet?
I was climbing a mountain with my camera in my bra sports so I could take pictures at the top. The side of the camera with the LCD screen has been pressed to my skin and sweat I have the camera wet. The camera works well. The only problem is that when the screen is on, go on striped gray and I can not see anything. I'm not even able to distinguish outlines of the subjects of my paintings. Also, do not have insurance, so I'm on my own when it comes to fixing the camera. Any help would be great.
Take all the batteries and memory card. Put the camera in the refrigerator for several hours. The fridge will help remove any moisture inside the camera. Before removing the camera from the fridge, put it in a ziploc and seal. This is so that when removed from the refrigerator condensation is on the ziploc instead of getting the camera wet again. Once temperature has returned to environment, take the camera from the ziploc, put the batteries and try again.
