Help with a Nikon D40! Please!?
So I had this camera for a year and recently has caused a big problem. When you go to take a picture in an area that is necessary to flash (Auto, flash or any other use of section) the flash is activated automatically, but I continue to take the picture and the flash does not flash. If I try to take a picture while the flash is up (another image to use a flash) that makes a noise as if it were to appear again, but already in place and not use the flash. Any suggestions? I took him in to a shop to repair the camera and the man said it was probably an option looking for the manual but I have not had any luck fixing it. If you have an estimate of how it could to resolve this would be great if you could help! I'm going to Italy tomorrow and really want to solve this! Thanks!
It seems a real problem with the camera and not just an adjustment. You should bring to an authorized service center and have it checked. If you feel that is a configuration issue, I suggest removing the battery for a few minutes and then put it back, reset the camera with the two green buttons and check if the problem is solved or not.
