Nikon SLR camera lenses D60 and D5000?
I'm getting either a Nikon D60 or D5000 camera for Christmas. I'm not sure yet, but I would take the family to achieve certain objectives. Is that both use the same lenses? If so, what do you recommend for a beginner who plans to take pictures portrait, family functions, inside and out and every day things. No need to zoom or macro crazy, but would like the basics. I would enter the picture, so I want a digital SLR is not a point and shoot.
Yes, they use the same type of lenses (AF or AF-S). If you are looking for something versatile, I would suggest the Nikon 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6. But if you're just getting into photography and want something cheap that still do the job, I would recommend getting the objective of kit (lens of the camera + 18-55mm).
