I need to know is how i upload videos from my digital camera and make a movie in Windows Movie Maker?

I have a Nikon digital camera and I trying to do a video in window movie maker, but it doesn't let me do every time I try to import my video shows a window and say ..(((( File C: Documents and Settings Angeli My Documents My Pictures jelly 242.MOV image is not a supported file type and can not be imported into Windows Movie Maker. Why? How I can import my video to Windows Movie Maker.?

Mp2v video edition. Emp software. Mpeg,. Pincacle mpg. WM. Mpv2, and Studio 11 or something similar.

    I really need to buy a camera but I dont know whic camera is best in the market today for film making or independent film maker’s camera,and which brand of the camera is the best qualty in terms of HD and frames, please anyone can help me about this?
