i have a nikon mb d80 battery pack. when i use AA batteries in the pack its showing wrong charge level.?
although i changed the settings to alkaline batery in the menu. i dunno what the problem is,… pls help,.. and explain the process in detail. and anyone who has the same combo of camera and battery pack pls help. have you guys encountered any problems like these what to do??? i use nikon d90 and mb d80 battery pack.

Why you are using AA batteries in your MB-D80 is the first question that comes to mind? Why don’t you just use two Li-ion batteries and be done with it? Those batteries will keep your camera shooting for probably over 1000 shots if not more. AA batteries are just something used in an emergency when you do not have the ability to recharge your Li-ion batteries before your next shoot.
Just use the AA’s until they fully deplete and by that time, your Li-ion batteries should be full charged.
