Buying a camera in Asia, Int Warranty?
Im looking for and have done a good deal of research. Nikon does not give an international warranty. Olympus do, but I drive on my mind made up on a Nikon model. If it breaks I can not send for repair ALL unpaid, when back in the UK??. "I can int get warranty with proof of purchace if I go to a Nikon shop when I go home?. Yes, all major camera manufacturers provide international warranty. And establish service centers in major cities around the world. Remember ask the warranty card that also provide an indication of the serial number of the team. Do not check the company website to make sure they have a service center in the country of residence. Beware of some sellers who will ask for an additional cost to the warranty card. Like all cameras genuine, new come with warranty the manufacturer.
