Warranty Nikon digital camera?

I have a Nikon Coolpix digital S4000 and recently had a small black dot is on target. I am sure it is the screen and tried to clean it. My camera's warranty is still good, but I have the receipt more. ¿I can send my camera and Nikon warranty for a replacement?
