Why do not my goal nikon 50mm me when using a remote control?
I recently purchased a 50mm f1.8 lens. I am very impressed with it. Only one thing I'm not sure. With my old 18-133mm lens, I set my Nikon D80 on a tripod and take a few pictures of myself, using a remote camera instead of running to the camera and return to the place that used to stand after each individual shot to set the timer again. However, we never focus on photos me. They focus on the bottom and I'm not sure how to change this. I know that if I am willing to take a picture of me and a group of friends, I can focus on one of my friends, however if I take a picture just for me, I have nothing to really focus on. Help? can you do? I know several people who have the same goal I and uses a remote control, however, photos of themselves out clear and beautiful. Can anything be done?
Look on page 28 of your owner's manual and pay special attention to the part where we talk about continuous-servo autofocus. Ensure that the objective is to focus on you, not the issue behind where you are about to sit.
