What are some of the Nikon cameras for sports photography than $ 1,500?
My mom says I'm going to get a new camera. So I searched the Nikon D300 (As I said less than $ 1,500, the Nikon D300 is $ 1,469, and apparently, its getting the D300 is one such time). I want to know if other Nikon cameras as well or almost as good as this camera, at a lower price. I've heard people talk about the D70, D80 and D90. Please enter much detail as possible.
For this money, I would say the D90 standard lens with VR 18-105mm (equivalent to a 180mm telephoto lens in a camera movies … That's a lot of the lens, and the "kit" comes in at about 1200 or so. That leaves money for the UV filter (to protect the lens) and a bag camera. If you are not accustomed to using telephoto lenses, they will have real problems shooting photos decent camera … movement is a biotch with telephoto! The objective is standard at about F4.5 in telephoto. The D90 features a focal plane shutter, shoot 4.5 shots per second mode of action (also making movies) … and has the option of Live View for shooting! This is really good when you have to shoot fast and easy … this camera is extremely fast autofocus, and has manual on walks in all functions, including white balance, ISO, focus, aperature and the shutter … also has priority autofocus shutter, aperature priority autofocus, etc. This is one hell of a lot of camera, and the price can not be defeated … you can force ISO 3200 !!!!! Normal shooting between 100 and 1600 ISO … very very fast! You no longer need big, heavy lenses to shoot. In shooting, you will rarely have the luxury of a tripod stability, so you need a fast camera to compensate for camera shake. virtual-reality goggles are good for up to 3 shutter speeds once you learn to use them! The camera can grow with you, because there is a wide range of lenses (all Nikon lenses fit this unit.) Getting to 12 megapixels, is a good camera, excellent in the fast autofocus and 11 differnet AF methods can be modified. Sport has a simple configuration in the shutter / focus button … How easy can get it? I have serious doubts that could overcome this camera. Happy holidays.
