Is there a digital camera settings you can save photos directly on the hard drive (My Pictures)?
I want the photos need to be stored directly on my Windows XP laptop My Pictures folder. I do not mind tying the camera to the laptop while taking photos. I looked Nikon cameras in wireless (eg, the Nikon Coolpix P2), but would prefer a simpler solution that can only send over a USB cable.
You can do that with almost all SLR cameras. For example, I know for a fact that a Canon Rebel XT, XTi, and Canon 30D everyone does. They come with software that helps in this task. Every camera does it differently if, and you have to check the manual to see how.
