Canon EF-S 17-85mm vs 18-55mm IS lens gear?
I'm planning on buying the new Canon Rebel XSi. I am a bit mixed as the lens of purchase. The 17-85mm USM brochure offers everything approach time, better build quality, wider and better zoom. The 18-55mm IS Lens Kit is lighter, has a 4-stop stabilization image (compared with 3 stop at 17-85), faster (f/3.5 vs f / 4) and is newer. USM is not maintained, full-time manual focus, narrower and lower zoom, and cheap to build. Many people and comments that this objective is absolutely superior in quality emblematic, exceeding the 17-85. The 17-85 suffers bullets and halo and gently lower f-stops. On price, I will be paying $ 200-300 more for the 17-85.

Canon PowerShot SD1000: How to record more video?
Hello, I like a Canon PowerShot SD1000 digital camera, and I lost the manual. I bought a 4GB memory card that promised 1 hour 40 minutes of MPEG2-Time Video CD (704 x 480 pixels, 5 Mbps) and 19 hours of MPEG-4 video recording time (320 x 240 pixels, 384 kbps). When I began to tape, I hoped to hit at least one hour video .. when it turned out to be able to help yourself on video for only 12 minutes (I have a memory card full error). Since I lost the manual, I have no idea how to correct the adjustment in the decree for me to record more video. Can anyone link me any with the instructions, or tell me step by step how to regulate the level of video recording? I would really appreciate it.
