To get a stunning and precise shot easily and almost always , should i go with a DSLR or a point and shoot?
I currently have a nikon coolpix s9, and i am not at all satisfied with it.
I never get good quality pictures, even though it’s set to the highest image quality. I’ve messed around with the white balance, and turned flash off, and all of that.
It never comes out crisp.
Even in broad daylight.
My question is,
should i try another point and shoot camera?
if so, which do you recommend?
does internal or external zoom make a difference?
I know my friend with an external zoom nikon with 6 megapixels, and his pictures are sometimes ok.
OR
should i just go all out and buy a DSLR?
I know they are pricey, i would want a semi- cheap one,
seeing as how i don’t want to be a photgrapher, i just want good pictures no matter what the ligting is.
I was looking at the canon rebel Xt dslr.
it looks nice.
i just want a camera that will take stunning pictures Always, not just sometimes.
OK. Stop. Take a deep breath. Relax. Now READ & STUDY the Owner’s Manual for the camera you own. 95% of the problems with cameras are a result of Operator Error – you do not know how to use your camera.
Learn how to use the camera you have and you will get the results you want.
You will get the same poor results with a Canon EOS-1Ds Mark III unless you actually learn how to use your camera.
Photographers take stunning photographs. Cameras don’t.
