Nikon D50 is interrupted … I say it's not true!?
Hello, I'm new to the DSLR world. I have been researching on and off for several years in which the camera I decided to get that Nikon D50 fits my needs. But now I learn that stopped 
I know the D40 is the latest, but I had my heart set on the D50, because of their characteristics. Nikon is coming up with the new camera in the short term? Something beyond D40, but below the D80? Or I get a refurbished D50?
I agree with you. There are limitations with the D40 you can get someone with more experience looking for a D50. I still like the D40 as a true entry-level SLR, but the D50 should not have been replaced by it. George has a good idea to get a used or refurbished D70s. (I added the "s" because it is a little nicer with a largr LCD and a couple of other functions.) Or you can get a refurb D50.
