How I can get my space in the memory card SanDisk Ultra II?
I bought a SanDisk Ultra II 2.0 GB Compact Flash card for my Nikon. It works fine except when I plugged in my computer and took photos, did not recover the space on the card. I had over 471 photos available left but started with about 600. Once I took them off the disk which means that the back woldcome space, but it is not. If I delete an ass with the camera's memory the space is recovered but I can not reclaim the space of the pictures I took of my computer. Please help.
When you connect your camera or reader card in the USB port, what program listed? If Windows Explorer, you should have an option to delete photos of their media after downloaded to a folder on your hard disk. If this is the Nikon supplied software, you need to look at the options and ensure that the removal of the photo of the CF card is Enabled. Another option is to use the camera to format the card after verifying that you have downloaded all the photos to your hard drive.
