Nikon D80 or Canon Rebel XSi for the first SLR?
Im looking to get my first digital SLR, perhaps for Christmas. What happens to these cameras is that I want to continue with a brand for my lenses are compatible with the Cross, but do not know which to go with. Please give an answer that is based on the short and long term. Thank you very much.
Although I love little Canon, I have to go with the Nikon SLR .. the D80 is a nice camera, runs around 750 with the lens (VR stabilized lens ..) and do not like the weight of the Canon … very heavy in comparison. The D80 is a very good camera for the money, camera, probably more than you use, quality, certainly better than any other printer you can have. And it can be operated fully automatic to full manual … great camera for the price and pixel count is better than any of us can use … Not fall into the game of pixel … anything over 6 meg is probably a waste. This camera is ranked, I think, 12 megapixels, and is ideal for measurement, but nothing more!
