Nikon S710 VS. Canon SD780..which is better?
I am looking into getting a new camera. My last was a Canon A70, which lasted FOREVER and through EVERYTHING, until soda got spilled on it and now it won’t take any pictures 
I am looking into 2 cameras: the Canon Powershot SD780 and the Nikon Coolpix S710.
I know that I can trust Canon, but I have heard that Nikon is a great brand.
The Nikon has a 14.5 MP, 3.6x zoom and a 3″ screen.
The Canon has a 12.1MP, 3x zoom and a 2.5 screen.
There isn’t much price difference either.
So I am wondering if anyone can lead me in the direction of one or the other? Or tell me somethings about which one you may have..?
I swear by Canon. Nothing is better but if you must venture away from Canon or Nikon then do NOT go with Minolta. I’ve tried one of their models and it was horrible! I also don’t care much for Pentax but each to their own. You mentioned two good ones there so go with whichever one you like the best and has the most options that you’ll need.
