Does anyone else have a Nikon Coolpix L22?

I just bought one on 9/2/10 and it completely SUCKS. I previously had an $80 Fujifilm that worked 3 times better. The flash is sketchy, and forget about taking any really close-up pictures of text. Am I doing something wrong? I’ve fooled around with all the settings, and nothing seems to make it better. Needless to say, I plan on returning this tomorrow. Also, any suggestions for taking really clear close-up pics?

no nikon compacts r always shity in terms of photo quality!
