Nikon Coolpix S220 is my problem?

when turned it on and off three times and then the screen says lens error. the manual tells you to do so, wait for it to cool and then back on. If the problem persists, contact Nikon dealer. (Do not want to do)

The same thing happened me: OI turn and try fixing the lens then says lens mistake?
