Nikon Coolpix P80 (10.1-Megapixel)?
I’m going to France, Italy, Austria and Switzerland this year and I want to be able to take pictures to do the scenery justice. For people with experience with this camera, how do you like it? Is this the kind of camera I should get for this type of trip? And if not, what do you recommend?

Short of buying a DSLR, this camera is pretty good.
Personally I am a Canon girl, and would pick the Powershot SX 10, but Nikons are great, too.
By far the most important thing you should do is to learn about photography. YOU will be able to make a huge difference to your photos, no matter which camera you have.
Start in your local library, cruise the internet…… there is a lot of info out there.
