Help with my camera?

I have a Nikon Coolpix 4100, but lost the cable to connect to the computer. The memory card I'm using is a SanDisk SD Card (256 MB). On my computer is Windows XP. I do not know if any of this matter. But anyway, I inserted the memory card into the printer, and I know it was right in there because the green light flashed until it was solid. However, I can not seem to find my photos anywhere on my computer. Does anyone know where I can find them?
