memory card is not recognized by the digital camera. Any suggestions?
I have Nikon Coolpix L1. Kingston 1 GB memory card works with the camera with the problems out. I branch a new card for memory upgrade. Transcend 8 GB card memory is not recognized by the camera. THA with new card although there are no buttons on the camera works. Any suggestions?
Your Nikon Coolpix L1 is able to use SDHC (SD High Capacity) memory cards. Therefore, is limited to the use of SD memory cards up to 2GB. The cameras are only released in early 2007 and beyond are able to use SDHC memory cards. The L1 was released in late 2005, making it incompatible. SD = memory cards up to 2GB. = SDHC memory cards of 4 GB and higher.
