Nikon D40 Protection – Shade, Cinema, or armor?
Well I want to protect my Nikon D40 LCD rain, scratches, stains and dust. Should I buy film protection (fits right on the LCD), the body armor (protects all, including the lens and body), or a shadow (fits into the back of the D40 and allows the use of buttons, however, has a tone hood might get in the way of taking pictures). If anyone has experience with one of these (or all), please give advice thanks!
I would go with the LCD, as the use of similar products on my cell phone, GPS, and especially the delicate glass surfaces. The armor adds bulk and makes the compact digital SLR clumbersome to keep and use. The flip-up shade gets in the way and is easily broken. Professional shooting, and have never seen a serious handle on both sides of me using the product of second or third one has asked about.
