Nikon D5000 makes the need for an infrared transmitter to trigger the studio lights?
I heard another option is to buy a shoe adapter and the use of cables PC synchronization kit always in the studio, I prefer to be wireless. Also, if I can buy the infrared transmitter, I have to shoe buy the adapter so that the transmitter that fits in the camera? thanks!
depending on where you are going to place the lights, an infrared transmitter would preferable for the health and safety reasons … and insurance … 
I really only use a shoe adapter for an off-camera flash …
