Help, which one shal i get, Sony A700, Nikon D60, the new D3000 or D5000?

Hi I am thinking about getting my first digital SLR. After tracking the internet and looking through reviews of Sony A700, Nikon D60, D3000 and D5000'm a little confused on what to buy. i would buy the A700 as its price fell (a lot) but the lens that comes with the camera is poor and a good lens is the way to expensive (outside my budget of £ 700) also prefers the D60, and how bad economic can spend some money on a new zoom lens. D3000 as the lack of offers dual lens kit hd D5000 available yet, but the new recording (no priority) I know some of the cameras are in a different league, but still what you recommend and why. Thanks in advance

The standard lens that comes with the A700 is not the best in the world, but you can also get it with 18-200mm lens in a kit, which is a much better lens. If you can get the A700 with the objective kit better then the camera is not better than anything else in its price range. The one feature that is needed is any kind of video recording, but DSLRs are not the best way to record video. Beyond that the A700 is as good as the Nikon D90, but much more robustly built (thanks to its heritage Minolta)! That same heritage Minolta Sony will provide access for a large number of Minolta lenses, along with the Sony standard, "G" of age, Carl Lens Zeis, Sigma and Tamron lenses. This legacy gives the A700 a wider range of autofocus lenses than any entry level Nikon or Canon (which require lenses with built Focus engines).
