D5100 vs Nikon D90?
I can not decide because the D90 does not need AF-S, so it will be cheaper in the long term, but the D5100 has the same internals as the new D7000. Any recommendations? Thanks!
Would have to say is a toss-up. I prefer the D5100 sensor is. If video is important to you then the D5100 is certainly much better for that too-HD and auto focus while recording. That factor is a big lens problem for me with Nikon. I do not understand why they do it. Well, I do, but I think it is actually a bit suspicious to be honest. Most people buy cameras entry-level and "do not realize they have to spend more on lenses that are AF-s when shopping … immediate gain. The D90 is a great camera by all means. I I have to say is really what fits you best. You can compare snapsort.com, but in fact the comparisons are not the numbers. You would be better to read the comments of each of the two on Ken Rockwell's blog and DP Review. Just remember to take Ken Rockwell with a grain of salt. He is based more on opinion than anything else.
