Sandisk Extreme IV of Nikon D700?
I have a Sandisk Extreme IV write speed 40MB / s and a Sandisk Extreme Ducati write speed of 45MB / s. As want to know is will that make much of a differance in a Nikon D700 at 5 fps or 8 fps (with handle) I was wondering if a shot of the camera jpeg is 5 MB to 8 fps will be around 40 MB to write to the card so it looks like Sandisk Extreme IV is sufficient.
If you are taking in Jpeg 8 fps with grip battery, you should be fine with the Extreme IV. If you take RAW images at 8 fps burst then the Extreme Ducati longer be required. If you do a lot of pictures RAW sports and take most of the time, then theDucati be necessary. But only Jpeg blast extreme sports photgraphy or do not do much then you are well with the exteme IV.
