Nikon D700 f-stop question?
I have the kit zoom, f/3.5-5.6. I have a mission to make a "statement equivalent" injection. I heard that can go beyond f/22 in 30mm or something. How can I do this? I have the manual, but I thought it would be nice if ask before I get lost in it. I have the 24-120mm VR zoom lens AHHH! Thank you! This was the front line that I was ignoring. I knew about the AP. the priority and so manual, but I'm an idiot for ignoring always the front line. Thank you!
The opening is variable focal length, 24mm in f/3.5-22, f/5.6-36 to 120 mm. As you increase the focal length with zoom, minimum and maximum opening to change due to elements within the lens that moves forward and backward. As the opening, its apparent size on the rear element changes. The camera will automatically adjust to this change, simply adjust the opening while in aperture priority (one way) by moving the main dial.
